Remanufacturing, Expanding the Life-cycle
我們首次成功回收揹水一戰2023 共 860 個5L膠樽，並交由V CYCLE再造製成輕便收納袋，成為揹水一戰2024 早鳥禮物！
All used 5L bottles will be collected and recycled, to reuse and remanufacture.
All recovered bottles will be sent to the Environmental Recycle Center for cleaning and processing into sustainable materials.
The race tee of Race for Water 2024 will be made by the sustainable materials from the recylced plastic!
Resources Sharing, Connecting our Community
Fruit peels will be collected at finish point and checkpoints, and sent to the organic
farm for compost.
The Unopened refreshments
will be sent to Food Angel, supporting the Community.

Raise Environmental Awareness throughout the Race
Waste Reduction
For waste reduction, we encourage all participants to avoid using non-recyclable foam rubber to cover shoulder straps. Disposable utensils will NOT be distributed on Race Day. Participants can take these alternatives:
Foam rubber → Towel/old clothes
Disposable cup → Reusable cup/ water bottle
Disposable utensils → Bring your own utensils

Recycle
This year, we will cooperate with The Green Earth to promote recycling. Recycle bins will be provided at the checkpoints and the finish point. All banners and signage are made of durable materials, and will be recycled for Race for Water 2024.
Public Education
This year, we expand our partnership with The Green Earth, specifically in public awareness and education. Participants can discover more green tips at the finish point, where the Green Station is set up to engage participants.
